Motor homes handle much like a car, especially the “C” class which has a van chassis. You will need to remember that they are much larger than the average car so when you turn, your back end will swing out. When you rent the vehicle you will receive an orientation and a drive around the block to show you how they work.
No. At departure you will receive a 30-60 minute familiarization tour and learn how to hook up, operate appliances, and the equipment on the RV. We also show you how to plug in to a power source, hook up your dump tanks, and everything else associated with operating an RV.
Mileage depends on the size of the motor home and the driving conditions. Generally, you will get between 8 and 11 miles per gallon.

All drivers must be listed on, and sign, the Rental Agreement and will be bound by the Terms and Conditions of the Rental Agreement at vehicle pickup.

Instructions and procedures for maintenance expense reimbursement are provided at rental. Customers may be held responsible for mechanical damage due to negligence in vehicle operation or failure to provide normal maintenance. In the event the vehicle is in breakdown repair for 12 hours or more, through no fault of the customer, our responsibility to customer is limited to refund of daily rate or portion thereof. There is no legal limit and there is no seat law governing the use of seat belts in any part of the coach beside the front seats, which requires belts. All motor homes come with seat belts on the dinette and the couch. If so equipped, we recommend they be used. We also recommend the following:
Never exceed the maximum capacity as posted in each individual vehicle. Minimum capacity includes the vehicle, all fluids, all occupants, and gear.
All passengers should use the provided seat belts. The total number of seat belts will vary according to each vehicle and its floor plan.
Child safety seats should be used where applicable. The installation and use of these seats should follow the recommendation of the child seat manufacturer.
Overhead areas designed only for sleeping should not be occupied while the vehicle is in motion.
The vehicle should be properly secured prior to travel. This includes locking the doors and dead-bolting them where applicable. Stow the entry step and secure the outside compartments.
We expect that you will use good judgment and prudence in your decisions.
YOU ARE REQUIRED TO COMPLY WITH APPLICABLE LAW.
